About SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED Speedhunters DLC

Last week we brought you news of the SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED Speedhunters downloadable content pack coming one day soon to an Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 near you. Well, that day has arrived with all the speed of a McLaren MP4-12C. Speedhunters is available now for 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE Marketplace or for $9.99 on the PlayStation Network.

The Speedhunters DLC features a whole new career path with new game modes, cars and tracks inspired by Speedhunters.com, one of the top car culture sites in the world. The new Drag and Standing Mile modes each have nine events to test your skills as you race with a manual transmission. That means no traction control and you’ll have to use the new rev counter and gear indicator to max out your performance.

In Drag races you battle for the fastest time over a quarter mile track, while in Standing Mile you’re aiming for the fastest speed on a mile-long track. You can do both in the content pack’s two new cars--Chris Rado’s World Racing Pro-FWD Reaper Scion tC and Koz’s Dodge Viper GTS by Twins Turbo--plus 12 specially tuned Speedhunters vehicles available to compete in all disciplines.
